At NERA, we believe movement is more than just exercise. It’s a way to reconnect with yourself, build strength from within, and show up for your body with care and intention.

Our studio was created to offer something different. A calm, welcoming space where people of all backgrounds, ages, and abilities can feel supported in their journey. Whether you're brand new to Pilates or coming back to it, you'll find a place here that meets you exactly where you are.

NERA exists for real life. For people juggling work, family, change, and everything in between. If you're carving out time to care for your body, we’re here to make that time feel meaningful and empowering.

Right now, our focus is Reformer Pilates. But at our core, we are a movement space built on connection, intention, and support. Our sessions are guided by expert instructors who offer encouragement, thoughtful programming, and personal attention in every class.

You won’t find pressure or perfection here. Just progress, presence, and space to grow.

We believe wellness should be accessible, not exclusive. Personal, not performative. At NERA, you’ll move with purpose, at your own pace, and with people who genuinely want to see you thrive.

Meet the Instructors

Charley.png

Charley

I’m Charley, and I’m passionate about all things health and well-being. I believe that the secret to Pilates lies in a slow and steady approach. With a background in dance, gymnastics, and a love for weight training, I bring a balanced perspective to movement, blending strength, control, and flow in every class. I am trained to work with both prenatal and postpartum clients also.

 

I have a deep interest in the menstrual cycle and how it influences movement and energy. I’m here to help you connect to your body in a supportive, mindful way. My classes offer a chance to disconnect from the outside world, be fully present, and leave feeling grounded, strong, and rebalanced.

Gemma

I’m Gemma, and as a person-centered therapist, I bring a mindful, compassionate approach to my Reformer Pilates practice. For me, it’s all about creating a complete connection between body and mind—making space for you to move with awareness, strength, and intention. I am trained to work with both prenatal and postpartum clients also.

 

In my classes, it’s not about perfection; it’s about how movement makes you feel. I aim to create an environment where you feel supported, seen, and encouraged to find both peace and challenge in your practice. I love helping you connect with your body, discover joy in movement, and leave each session feeling stronger, calmer, and more at home within yourself.

Leah

I’m Leah, one of the instructors at Nera Pilates in Lincoln. I’m a fully qualified mat and Reformer Pilates instructor. After a year of loving and practicing Pilates, I decided to share my passion by completing my training.

 

I genuinely love the way exercise makes me feel, and I’m eager to encourage you to move and feel amazing through Reformer Pilates. I’m really looking forward to working with you all at Nera Pilates!

Nicci

I’m Nicci, and I’ve always had a passion for fitness and overall well-being. With a background in weight training, I’ve spent years exploring different ways to move my body and stay strong, both physically and mentally. Exercise is my happy place, and I love the energy, confidence, and balance it brings to my life.

 

My journey into Reformer Pilates began alongside my lovely stepsister, Gemma, the founder of Nera. Together, we’ve embarked on this exciting adventure, combining our love for movement with a shared goal of helping you feel your best.

 

Since discovering Pilates, I’ve fallen in love with how it makes my body feel—strong, lengthened, and aligned—and how it naturally lifts my mood. Every session leaves me feeling refreshed and inspired, and I can’t wait to share that same experience with you through Nera.

Jenna

I’m Jenna! I fell in love with Pilates just over three years ago after discovering how grounded, strong, and connected it made me feel in my body. I’ve always been an active person—growing up, I was a proud member of my local athletics club. As I got older I introduced strength training and hyrox, and Pilates quickly became the perfect complement to my movement routine.

Becoming a Pilates instructor felt like a natural step for me. With my extroverted personality and genuine love for people, I’m passionate about creating an uplifting space where others can move mindfully, build confidence, and feel good in their bodies. I can’t wait to meet you in the studio!

Isobel

I’m Isobel, and I’m passionate about all things fitness and mindfulness. I fell in love with the way that Pilates brings a mind to body connection to fitness. Pilates offers a perfect balance of control, flow, and strength to exercise. After realising how passionate I am about Pilates, I decided to start my instructor training so that I can share this passion with all of you.

In my classes, you can expect a positive environment where you can just take the time for yourself, to hone in on how your body and mind feel. The aim of my classes is to give you a space to relax and feel confident, enabling you to leave the class feel strong, peaceful and positive.
